The Peacock is made with traditional pen dipped into India ink using with the vibes of a past break up, from confusion to regal beauty. The Peacock was initially sold to a man who randomly walked by my ma's office as she was opening it to show it to someone else. The buyer took it to India to give it to his wife, only for it to be returned shortly thereafter with a note in broken English, saying his wife was gone and that he wanted me to use it to make someone else happy. Let me know if that person is you.

This painting is for those who've been in the dark and made something anyway, who've felt horrible yet took another step, who've felt depressed, anxious, or nuts yet keep it together enough to make it to the next.
